Dr. Burch has a wait list for new clients. I am a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) in NY, ME, and VA providing virtual sessions. I work with clients of all ages. I have experience treating numerous presenting problems including anxiety, depression, learning issues, trauma/PTSD, socialization, communication, family struggles, and life changes. Using the strength of each client, I work with you to accomplish your goals and improve your life and functioning. I provide individual, family, and couple's counseling, and participate with most major insurance companies. I am also a board certified telemental health provider (BC-TMH).
In addition to traditional therapy, I also provide equine-assisted psychotherapy or a therapy dog as appropriate. I have additional training through the Center for Deployment Psychology and am a registered Star Behavioral Health Provider. I am also a trained EMDR provider (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing).
Clients can expect a comfortable and confidential space in my office and will be offered a non-judgmental and accepting atmosphere. I work hard to ensure that my clients and I are a good match so that therapy can be as effective as possible. If I am not the right fit, I will work with you to ensure your therapeutic needs are met.
