Hello! I am a therapist that specializes in family therapy and therapy for children and teens ages 3-18. I also enjoy working with adults of all ages who are experiencing grief, anxiety, or tics. I believe that people are exceptionally resilient. However, there are times when circumstances become too overwhelming to bear alone. Children may have difficulty sharing their emotions verbally and will instead act out, causing stress in the family. My passion is creating a safe space for healing to occur. I work with children and families experiencing anxiety, depression, tics, autism (levels 1 and 2), trauma, grief, divorce, and more.
I hope to help families move towards secure connection where each member feels understood and valued. I use play therapy and art therapy interventions to engage children and teens in sessions. I am trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), DBT, Experiential techniques, Gottman's Emotion Coaching, and other evidence-based practices.
I am also trained in Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics, an evidenced based therapy for motor and vocal tics. I believe that you are the expert in your life, and I strive to meet you where you are. No matter your circumstances, we can work together to find hope.
