Are you having a difficult time managing emotions or thoughts that you once thought were manageable? Many people experience trauma or other adverse life events at some point in their lives. I believe each person has the potential to be free from the burden of symptoms that trauma, anxiety, and depression can create. People often come to counseling unsure of what they want to be different but knowing that they would like something to change. I enjoy working with people trying to identify goals and those who already have goals in mind.
I have specialized training in working with survivors of trauma as well as those struggling with depression, anxiety and anxiety disorders. I also have extensive experience in working with survivors of sexual assault and/or abuse. I use evidenced based practices and incorporate several models in an effort to tailor a specialized treatment for each person.
I am credentialed in the state of Washington as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and as a Child Mental Health Specialist. I participate in continuing education on a regular basis in an effort to provide the best care possible.
