I'm a Social Worker with almost a decade of experience. It is an honor to be able to work with people every day and hear their stories, their pains, their troubles, as well as their strengths and successes. Humor, creativity, and reflection are the cornerstones to my work with clients.
I graduated from Cornell University with a BA in Sociology, and from New York University with a MSW. I use a strength-based, culturally affirming lens to approach my work. I draw from Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Acceptance and Compassion Therapy.
Overall, my mission is to help those in our society who are usually overlooked and disenfranchised. I want to help magnify their voice, and it all starts from the seeds of a trusting relationship that we build overtime while working together. I have found that the best way to be impactful is to help my clients tap into their insights and strengths.
