I am a trauma-informed licensed clinical social worker (LCSW). I appreciate that each of us has experienced a time when our skills/resources weren’t enough to tackle a problem. I love my broad definition of trauma because it allows us to show grace to ourselves and others.
I aim to create an environment where clients feel safe, seen, and heard. I approach clinical practice through “trauma-goggles,” with compassion and empathy. Many people have unexplored traumas that cause disruptions, chaos, self-harm, and social isolation. Through our work together, my clients find agency, strength, peace, forgiveness, and hope.
