Accepting new clients;Telehealth only. As a mental health counselor, I specialize in trauma. I've worked with within the clinical settings of: mental health hospitals, school and career counseling, community care & mental health clinics and crisis intervention counseling. With much of my experience treating individuals for anxiety, depression, trauma/complex trauma, additions, stress management, grief, and Bipolar disorder. I’ve been trained in and educated in trauma informed care, multicultural care and treatment. I’m only the guide in this therapeutic journey but will be with you and support you every step of the way.
My style and approach is to focus on the client as a whole, not just the issues at hand and where the client can set the pace of their counseling and is treated with respect, acceptance, non-judgement, and empathy. I also take an integrated approach, meaning I will use interventions from other therapeutic theories. One therapeutic approach does not fit all
Before becoming a mental health counselor, I worked in many different fields, exposed and acquainted to a wide variety of what life has to offer, both positives and not so positive. This has allowed me to appreciate where my clients come from and what they may be going through. Everyone’s life is unique and their own. And I will always honor that.
