The foundation for mental health is nutrition. Our biochemistry is an essential part of our mental health which is often neglected. If we have low blood sugar or our brains are deficient in neurotransmitters, talk therapy will make slow progress. I can help you heal your brain with nutritional supplements and then we can process the issues that are causing you distress more effectively.
EMDR is a powerful therapy tool that can heal trauma and negative beliefs. When trauma is not processed correctly, we can be triggered by daily events without realizing it. I am a certified EMDR therapist, IFS trained and recently completed Vital, a one year program learning about psychedelics to help people navigate and integrate psychedelic therapy.
Not knowing what to expect can make the decision to go to therapy very scary. I will meet you where you want to begin. I love working with adolescents and young adults as they explore how they fit into this world.
