I work with individuals, children, adolescents, teens, adults, couples, families, veterans, and persons in the LGBTQ+ community. My clinical interests include working with those affected by trauma, personality disorders, Autism, ADHD and other neurodivergent conditions, as my own life is affected by the differences and challenges my daughter’s Autism has introduced us to throughout her life. I have experience in trauma-focused CBT and DBT for those affected by childhood trauma, abuse, and sexual trauma. I practice an integrative therapy approach which provides a more personalized touch, utilizing Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Solutions-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral-Informed Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, Schema-Focused Therapy, Art Therapy, and Mindfulness with all my clients, and Sandtray and play-Informed Therapy for children.
I offer sessions both in-person and virtually. Autism Parent Support Group
This is a support group for parents and caregivers of children on the Autism Spectrum. This group is meant to facilitate acceptance, supportive resources, self-care and coping skills for parents and caregivers new to or seasoned in the world of Autism according to their child. It is important to remember that every person with Autism has their own unique experiences, and so do their families. We are person-centered and may at times adapt our terms or verbiage out of respect for the Autism community. Our goal is to facilitate a supportive, accepting, and understanding environment.
