I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, and Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist Associate. I obtained my undergraduate degree in Psychology from Fayetteville State University in 2015 and my Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from The University of Grand Canyon in 2018. I have 4+ years experience and enjoy working with adolescents, young adults, adults, and families, as well as BIPOC, providing individual, group, and family counseling. My counseling orientation is based on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). I also use skills from Narrative Therapy and Mindfulness Therapy.
I have experience working with individuals from 5 to 60 years old with ADHD, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, Depression, Behavior problems, Eating disorders, Parenting issues, Self-esteem, Relationships and Relations, Life adjustments, Addictions, Substance abuse, and much more.
I enjoy working with adolescents, young adults, adults, and families. I use a combination of Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Talk Therapy, and Mindfulness to provide a well-rounded counseling experience that will help you learn the necessary skills to improve your day-today functionality, increase your peace of mind, and support your mental health and wellness.
