Welcome! I'm Carly, thanks for visiting. I work primarily with 18+ individuals on issues like chronic illness, grief/loss, and depression (tough stuff that maybe family and friends can't always sit with) and have 17 years of experience in mental health. I have openings right now for both virtual and in-person appointments. Please check your spam folder if you reach out to me originally via email as my messages may end up there. Currently I'm in network with Optum (includes Connecticare, Oxford, and United), Aetna and Husky. I also accept Medicare Advantage plans. I specialize in health, aging, grief and loss, and work with young adults, adults, and older adults. I work with anxiety and mood disorders, self-esteem issues, and relationship issues. My approach is CBT-based; however, I believe that developing a trusting relationship between client and therapist is of the utmost importance in making progress.
I always aim to see the good in others and am genuinely fascinated by the way the human mind works: the way it can spiral out of control in not-so-helpful ways, for sure, but also the way it can persevere through nearly anything, protect us, and help us to create and share wonderful things.
