It’s been found that the most important factor for creating change in therapy is the therapeutic relationship. I offer a safe, non-judgmental space to process emotions and transmute pain into growth. I consider all aspects of an individual and implement a biopsychosocial-spiritual, culturally-sensitive and client-centered approach with individuals, couples, families and groups. I’ve used various research-based modalities including DBT, EFT, Internal Family Systems/parts work, EMDR, and art therapy. Additionally, I am now offering KAP (Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy) remotely.

Our wounds and traumas aren't just scars; they can be catalysts that actively transform and shape us when acknowledged and worked through. We often look to be cured or fixed, but the reality is we are not broken. We may never go back to who we were before, but we can become even better, and therapy can help with this reconstructing.

This process reminds me of the Japanese practice of “Kintsugi” (“Kintsukuroi”) which involves mending broken ceramics with gold. The item is thought to be more beautiful for having been broken, as the flaw is an important part of its history. We too are the same.
