Being a human can be difficult and sometimes we need help along the way to get unstuck. Seeking therapy is a vital first step to healing. In therapy, I will walk with you to aid you in bettering yourself and overcoming your struggles by developing healthy coping skills, challenging unhelpful beliefs about yourself, and accepting you where you are in your journey. I use a non-judgmental, collaborative approach to create a safe space for you to explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I seek to understand, accept, and facilitate change using an approach that best fits your needs.
I specialize in treating eating disorders, trauma, suicide bereavement, depression, and anxiety. I work to individualize your treatment in order to fit your unique needs and strengths. I am EMDR certified, and often use CBT, ACT, and DBT skills to help you get unstuck. I also use a Health At Every Size approach.
