I often describe dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) as “common sense therapy.” DBT helps people recognize when their behaviors are no longer serving them and teaches skills to more effectively meet their needs/goals.
I use my expertise in DBT and trauma-informed care to help people recognize unhealthy patterns and create positive change. Serving adults and children (3+) in NH & MA, I offer individual and family therapy, as well as DBT Skills Groups. I see clients virtually as well as in-person in Amesbury, MA.
DBT assumes that if your life is full of pain/suffering, it makes sense that you would try to cope however you can. DBT helps people make lasting changes to build a life that they don’t need to escape from— a life that feels more worth living. My style is warm, humorous and direct; I will cheer you on while also challenging you to live your best life.

2024 DBT Skills & Support Group for Caregivers

In this online group, parents/caregivers will gain support and build connections with other caregivers as well as learn basic DBT skills to better understand and more effectively support their child in regulating emotions & behavior, improving relationships, increasing self-awareness, and building a life that feels more worth living. Group is held Wednesdays from 6-7:15pm and is led by an intensively-trained DBT clinician. The fee is $50 per session. *Note: This group is ongoing and new participants are welcome to join at any time.

2024 Summer Intensive Teen DBT Skills Group

Teens will learn DBT skills to better regulate emotions and behavior, improve relationships, increase self-awareness, and build a life that feels more worth living. This is a traditional adherent DBT Skills Group led by a board-certified DBT clinician. $1800 for the full session, per teen. This group will be a mixture of in-person and virtual meetings (in-person meetings held in Amesbury, MA). **Starts July 2, 2024**
