“I’m overwhelmed. I’m just so tired.” “I didn’t know being a mom would be so hard.” “I don’t want to parent the way I was raised.” “I just got clean and I want to stay clean and sober.” “My PTSD from childhood abuse/DV/traumatic birth gets in the way of my daily life.” These are things my clients tell me when we first meet. I help them heal and feel better. I'm an LCSW in private practice specializing in working with women, particularly during pregnancy and early parenting. I have experience working with trauma, substance use disorders, and co-occurring disorders. I also do brief interventions in partnership with other therapies.
In addition to talk therapy using evidence-based CBT/DBT strategies, I offer a few other unique therapy options, including Accelerated Resolution Therapy and Ketamine/Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy to address symptoms of trauma, depression, anxiety, addiction, and more.
