I am a mature and long-time clinician. I focus on family issues, parenting crises, divorce/custody, and the problems of older adults. In the past few years, I have become quite comfortable with virtual office treatment. I am warm and engaging and able to establish meaningful rapport. Virtual therapy isn’t comfortable for all but surprisingly it can offer an intensity that is sometimes not easily established in the traditional setting. I am glad to offer assistance with the technology of virtual therapy for those who are less experienced.
Psychotherapy can provide a different lens through which to hear and see one’s own responses and behaviors that may interfere with interpersonal relationships. My approach is psychodynamic. I am also trained in cognitive behavior skill development and stress-reduction techniques, which are often useful in combination.
Our medical system isn’t always user-friendly. I am a capable navigator for those facing chronic illness, pain management and difficult treatment. I know that searching for something as personal as a therapist on-line may be daunting. I try not to add to this frustration and promptly return prospective clients’ inquiries about availability and insurance.

Aging with Grace
I have formed and facilitated small groups of older adults interested in finding support and insight about the aging body and mind. Learning personal reflective practices that embody a "life well lived" enhance growing older with resilience and joy. If interested, I will add you to my on-going list for when group is established.
