Finding value, worth, joy, and passion in life is often difficult due to personal hang-ups, breakdowns in communication, and feeling as though emotions and feelings are stunted or underdeveloped. Anchored Within Counseling was founded on the belief that all humans need, deserve, and require the biological, cultural, religious, social necessities of safety, security, comfort, and acceptance to live fully. Vulnerability and transparency are often difficult to access and within our therapeutic work we will create space to invite, sit with, and embrace the uncomfortable to grow. I enjoy utilizing art, music, narrative, mindfulness and other holistic modalities to assist my clients through their healing process. I am a firm believer in providing a supportive, nurturing, and unbiased foundational approach to all clients. My core beliefs and practices embody congruence, empathy, and unconditional positive regard.
