Through our work together, we can decrease your distress, increase your range of emotions, and enhance your connection with others. I particularly enjoy working with clients who have attempted therapy in the past but still feel stuck and unsatisfied in life.
I am a psychodynamic psychotherapist, which means that I take an in-depth look at the source of your distress. You feel the way you feel and respond the way you respond for a reason. Identifying the reason(s) makes space for new, more adaptive ways of living. Increased understanding and a safe place to try out new skills is a powerful combination.
I believe that all humans are inherently worthy of respect, support, and empowerment. Many of us, however, have not been afforded spaces to show up just as we are without judgment. Therefore, it is a top priority of my practice to welcome and make space for the totality of you. I would be honored to guide you on your journey toward a more satisfying life.
