I am a Licensed Professional counselor with 25 years of experience as a teacher prior to becoming a counselor. My mission is to provide a collaborative, supportive and safe place for you to work through the struggles and stressors of life. Together we will empower you to achieve the growth that will lead to your healing and wellness. I think you will appreciate my warmth, sense of humor, compassion, creativity, and authenticity. My approach is person-centered. I integrate a variety of techniques/theories that are tailored to your individual needs and goals.
In my practice, I have worked with children, adolescents, adults and couples. My background includes helping reduce symptoms of depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder, grief, life transitions, and supporting folks in the LGBTQIA+ community.
I know that reaching out can be difficult, especially when you aren't feeling your best. Let me help you get started. Be well and I wish you the best on your journey, wherever it takes you.
