All of us experience struggles at some point in our life. Often these struggles begin in childhood and leave negative imprints on our lives for years. Other individuals may have uneventful childhoods, but find themselves struggling in adulthood with unexpected life events such as family and relational issues, death and dying, chronic illness, anxiety and depression, to name a few. Finding a trusting therapist to walk with you while providing objective insight can often be the difference between just struggling through life, or experiencing your best life and thriving.
I have 30 years of experience working with individuals of all ages and stages of life. I have extensive background in the healthcare setting having seen clients in crisis and at their worst. I have extensive experience working with the bereaved, those who have experienced traumatic loss, and individuals suffering with chronic or terminal illness.
Seeking therapy can be an intimidating experience and individuals often feel overwhelmed when it comes to finding the right provider. I will work with you in a safe and supportive environment while we explore your struggles. Together we will identify a treatment plan to improve your quality of life. Be encouraged and thank you for considering me.

I use a combination of Person Centered, Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). In your first session, we discuss what brought you to seek therapy, set goals you want to achieve, and work on the building blocks of a strong rapport. Person centered therapy works to increase self acceptance and self esteem. CBT examines thoughts, feelings and behaviors.
