Now offering Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy. Adding 3 part-time practitioners to the practice to meet diverse needs (veterans, PeriPartum/women's issues) and busy schedules (after-hours and weekends). TelePsychiatry will be available from non-local Nurse Practitioners to add to levels of privacy (you won't run into them at the grocery store). Dr. Morairty sees Preteens to Older Adults and does take MediCARE. I like my primary care provider but I want an Expert Opinion when it comes to my mental health issues. You want to feel better! As a conservative Psychiatric Physician, Dr. M. focuses on talk therapy PLUS medication as best practice offering synergy to most patients. However; frankly some folks DON'T need medication or simply LESS of it to feel better. Lasting change and recovery often come from a treatment plan that includes biological, psychological, and social interventions.

Dr. M. offers a firm but fair approach to mental health evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment. You should NOT be MORE confused AFTER seeing a specialist.
