Born and raised in Kansas City, I decided to pursue a medical career during high school. I went to trade school and worked as a medical assistant and phlebotomist. After several years I decided to further my education in nursing, attaining my LPN, RN, BSN, MSN, and post-graduate certification. I graduated summa cum laude from all nursing coursework. Margurite decided to pursue my PMHNP certification out of my desire to more effectively help others suffering from anxiety and depression.
I will be pursuing a DNP in the future because I richly enjoy patient interactions and I am constantly striving for self-improvement to better serve patients. In my spare time, I enjoy gaming, fitness, music, and spending time with my husband, 5 children, 2 grandchildren, and 5 grandkitties.
