I am Kristen Dale, PMHNP-BC, licensed in the states of Colorado and Texas. I obtained my undergraduate degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch and my graduate degree from the University of Texas Health and Science Center Houston. Throughout my nursing career, I have worked at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center on the thoracic and cardiovascular surgery unit, Menninger Clinic on the Professionals in Crisis Unit, Neuropsychiatric Center, Harris County Jail, Harris County Psychiatric Center, Heading Health, and have provided psychiatric consult services to various nursing homes.

I use a holistic approach in treating my patients, so I often recommend therapy and encourage physical health in addition to medications. I also encourage patients to be involved in the treatment planning and not be afraid to ask questions or voice concerns. My former patients would often compliment me on being “easy to talk to”.

I am trained to see patients of all ages, but most of my experience has been working with adults with various diagnoses, some of which include anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, substance use disorders, eating disorders, bipolar disorder, and psychotic disorders. I am passionate about gaining further knowledge in the field of psychiatr.
