Steven Reidbord, M.D., has been active in clinical psychiatry and psychiatric education for over 25 years. Early in his career, Dr. Reidbord published research papers on nonlinear dynamics, psychophysiology, and flow states during psychotherapy. Since then he has taught Bay Area medical students, psychiatry residents, and psychology trainees in courses ranging from outpatient evaluation to psychiatric ethics to dynamic psychotherapy. Dr. Reidbord is chair of Continuing Medical Education (CME) at California Pacific Medical Center, and sees adult patients in his private office in San Francisco.
