Elizabeth Dixon is a social worker supporting vulnerable children and families through research and clinical practice. She has worked with children with developmental delays, and those who have been impacted by abuse, neglect, poverty, and trauma. She is especially interested in the intersection between mindfulness, spirituality, and faith-based interventions to enhance individual, family, and community well-being.

Elizabeth received her Bachelor of Arts in psychology and biblical studies from Columbia International University. She later received her master’s in social work from the University of South Carolina specializing in health and mental health. She currently works at the University of South Carolina, helping to advance the research for autism and neurodevelopmental disorders.
