Andrew Newberg, M.D., and Mark Robert Waldman are the authors of Words Can Change Your Brain many other books. According to Time, Newsweek, and the Washington Post, they are considered the world's leading experts in spirituality and the brain.

Andrew Newberg, M.D., is currently the Director of Research at the Myrna Brind Center of Integrative Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University and Hospital in Philadelphia. He is also a Professor in the Departments of Emergency Medicine and Radiology at Thomas Jefferson University. He is considered a pioneer in the field of Neurotheology which is the field that links spirituality and the brain. He is the co-author with Mark Waldman of the best selling book How God Changes Your Brain, author of the bestselling, Why God Won’t Go Away, and co-author with Mark Waldman of Born to Believe. He has presented his work at scientific and religious meetings throughout the world and has appeared on Good Morning America, Nightline, CNN, ABC World News Tonight as well as in a number of media articles including Newsweek, Time, New York Times, Los Angeles Times, and Readers Digest.

Mark Waldman is on the faculty of the Executive MBA program at Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles, where he teaches brain-based strategies for improving leadership and communication. He is also on the MBA Faculty of Holmes Institute. His research on spirituality, meditation, consciousness, business values and the brain has been published in peer-reviewed journals throughout the world, and he has appeared on Oprah Radio, PBS television, Canadian National Television, and National Public Radio. He is a business and personal development coach and his 11th book, How God Changes Your Brain, co-authored with Dr. Newberg, was selected as one of Oprah’s nine “must read” books for 2012.
