A.J. Adams, MAPP, is among the first 150 individuals in the world to graduate with the Master’s in Applied Positive Psychology degree from the University of Pennsylvania. Led by psychologist, Martin Seligman, Ph.D., the MAPP program is a cutting-edge, one-of-a-kind, Ivy League program that offers an in-depth study of the science of well-being. Adams is deeply passionate about helping individuals and organizations flourish.

Over the last decade, Adams has taught people around the globe, ranging from African villagers to senior leaders in the U.S. military, empirically-validated, cognitive-behavioral skills, performance enhancement techniques, and positive psychology applications that foster resilience to stress, improve relationships, enhance physical fitness, build greater vitality and strengthen overall well-being. She has worked with organizations such as the Wharton School, Customs and Border Protection, NOAA, the U.S. Air Force, and the U.S. Army—as well as various organizations around the globe.

Additionally, Adams has post-graduate training in resilience from the University of Pennsylvania, and her educational background extends to the fields of cognitive neuroscience and mindfulness meditation. She delivers keynotes and workshops on the topics of resilience, mindfulness, stress management, burnout, strengths-based leadership, creating positive workplaces, employee engagement, cultivating a growth mindset, and more.
