Sean X. Luo, M.D., Ph.D. is a researcher and a psychiatrist. He is currently Leon Levy Fellow at Columbia University Department of Psychiatry. His research focuses on the intersection of statistics, neuroscience, artificial intelligence and psychiatry, in particular addiction psychiatry. He has published in a number of leading journals including Nature, Nature Neuroscience, and the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. Most recently he was the recipient of Early Career Young Investigator Award from the American Academy of Addiction Psychiatry and was the lead author on a chapter, "Internet Addiction”, in the forthcoming The Behavioral Addiction Casebook.
