Sam Osherson, Ph.D., is on the faculty of the Stanley King Counseling Institute, which teaches a model of counseling and listening skills to teachers, advisors, administrators, and other school personnel in order to strengthen and deepen their relationships with students. He is an Emeritus Professor of Psychology at Fielding Graduate University, and a therapist in private practice. He is the author of six nonfiction books, including the best-selling Finding Our Fathers, as well as the novel The Stethoscope Cure, about psychotherapy in a time of war.
