About

Sam Margulies has been engaged in the practice of mediation, arbitration and dispute resolution training and consulting for thirty years. He holds a PhD in political science and a Juris Doctor. He has been a practicing lawyer since 1978. Sam was one of the early pioneers in mediation beginning in 1978 and has served on committees in numerous organizations dedicated to the development of dispute resolution techniques. His publications include three books and numerous articles on many aspects of dispute resolution. He has developed training programs for Rutgers Law School , the Bryan School of Business and the Graduate School at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. He has mediated thousands of disputes throughout his career including business disputes, construction disputes, employment disputes, family business disputes and divorce. Sam has three grown daughters and lives on his farm in Greensboro, North Carolina where he raises horses, goats, chickens and a badly behaved poodle.
