Riccardo Dalle Grave, M.D., is head of the Department of Eating and Weight Disorders at the Villa Garda Hospital in Italy. In this department, he developed an original inpatient treatment for eating disorders based entirely on the enhanced cognitive behavior therapy (CBT-E), and the adaptation of outpatient CBT-E for adolescents with eating disorders.

He is a fellow of the Academy for Eating Disorders and a member of the editorial board of the International Journal of Eating Disorders, Eating and Weight Disorders, and Journal of Eating Disorders. He is also editor of the Italian Journal of Eating Disorders and Obesity (IJEDO) and of the CBT-E website. Over the past 20 years, Dr. Dalle Grave has published about 150 papers in international peer-reviewed journals, and four books in English, including the new Cognitive Behavior Therapy for Adolescents with Eating Disorders, Dalle Grave, R., & Calugi, S.
