Hello there! My name is Dr Lynda Foulder-Hughes. I am an experienced Psychotherapist, and accredited member of UKAHPP. My initial training was as an Occupational, Therapist (state HCPC registered between 1991-2019). I have over 33 years of successful practice experience in hospitals, clinics, social care, voluntary organisations, education settings and television. I am trained in a range of approaches including: CBT, EMDR, Flash EMDR Technique, Rewind, Humanistic Counselling, DBT, ACT, SFT, CFT, MI, Mindfulness and Meditation. My approach to treatment is holistic, evidence-based and integrative, depending upon your needs.
Qualifications: Doctorate PhD Medicine-Child Health, Masters degree MEd- Health and Social Studies in Counselling for Health Professionals & Health Psychology. DipCOT(Occupational Therapy), BMsc MSc -Metaphysical Sciences, Diplomas/ certificates in: CBT, EMDR; Practitioner certificate in EMDR, Advanced Flash Technique, DBT, Humanistic Counselling.
I provide a compassionate and holistic approach in order to help people recover from past traumas and current emotional difficulties. I am a highly empathetic, experienced and educated professional, who genuinely cares. Fees from £60 per hour (including for initial appointments so that you can see if I am the therapist for you and which approach is best).
