My work is fueled by a passion for helping people overcome life's challenges. With over 17 years of experience in mental health and 12 years as an individual and family therapist, I've had the privilege of working with adolescents, adults and families from diverse backgrounds and experiences. My work experience includes helping individuals dealing with a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, chronic school avoidance, parent-child conflict, relationship issues, suicidal ideation, and self-harm.
My practice draws upon a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Solution Focused Therapy, among others, to help my clients find the most effective strategies for achieving their goals.
