External struggles are challenging in itself, but internal struggles can be very deteriorating and tough to manage. If you're feeling stuck with no motivation and a constant feeling of dread, intrusive thoughts and stress/anxiety, I am here to help. I will provide you with strategies and tips that you can use for tension reduction, emotional regulation and to begin to feel like yourself again. I have a strong passion for supporting those going through difficult times and needing someone to talk to, all while gaining some tools and psychoeducation around what they may be feeling.
I am a Registered Social Worker with my Masters in Social Work. My strengths lie in working with stress, anxiety, DV, mental health and grief to name a few. I provide psychotherapy to children, adolescents and adults. I use a variety of modalities including CBT and DBT to help my clients, but ultimately use my clients strengths to narrate their own journeys.
Having the courage to reach out for a helping hand during a time of difficulty is extremely courageous, and no person deserves to be turned down when they are trying to better themselves.
