In practice, I value using a person-centered, trauma informed approach to therapy with emphasis on fostering a sound therapeutic relationship with clients. I also believes in creating a safe and non-judgmental environment in collaboration with the client to navigate through their journey to healing. Using a multi-faceted approach to counselling I draw upon theories such as Solution-focused, Mindfulness techniques, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Attachment-based approaches. My goal in counselling is to provide an empathetic and meaningful connection to build upon positive therapeutic outcomes.
Outside of the office I enjoy creating a work-life balance by gardening, cooking, hiking with my two rescue dogs, and spending time with family and friends.
