Hi, everyone. Individuals, couples and poly folks tend to seek me out because I’m clear-headed, sincere and deeply hopeful. So, if you’re having feelings of anger, disconnection or overwhelming anxiety, we can find ways for you to feel lighter, easier, more certain. People processing childhood trauma and abuse, or grappling with low self-esteem, powerlessness and grief — they find relief here too. We start with what feels helpful for you — sometimes that’s having a safe sounding board; other times it’s having a co-problem solver with tools right beside you. My sense of humour is a plus, so is my endless curiosity and compassion.
Much of my work focuses on partnerships: working with folks going through separation or divorce, creating co-parenting plans, and helping people navigate relational upheaval in all its forms, including affairs and blending families. As well, family estrangement is particularly close to my heart, and something I’ve researched and written about extensively.
I work sensitively with this (wildly painful) reality from both perspectives — those initiating estrangement and those being estranged from. To do that, I draw on a lengthy career in communications, as well as my own experiences as a wife, daughter, parent, stepparent, stepchild and fellow vulnerable human.
