I am passionate about supporting parents and youth through what is often a tumultuous stage, and can often be traumatic for individuals and families. Having an experienced professional outside your family system who can really hear you, and help you thrive during these years can provide you with renewed hope, options, and potentially stronger relationships.
As a Registered Professional Counsellor, with a PHD in Education, I draw on POSITIVE PSYCHOLOGY to support you and your family to access your inner qualities, resources, and wisdom and offer you tools in places you might feel stuck. At this time, I hold counselling sessions ONLINE only.

Parenting Teens Support Group
LIfe Dances Counselling offers a support group for parents of teens, held in the spring and fall. Here is a safe space to talk about and feel the struggles and blocks you are experiencing with your teen or in your family. Meet each week online (for 8 weeks) and experience the support and sameness of others going through this challenging role of parenting a teen(s). You will also be provided with tools and resources each session to help you make improvements with your teen and in your family.
