Groups
Teen Skills Groups
The Teen Skills Group series consists of 4 different workshops geared specifically towards teens ages 12-18 on the topics of understanding emotions, coping skills, and healthy relationships. The material is based on the concepts of Dialectical Behaviour Therapy. They are 1.5hrs in length and consist of psychoeducation as well as reflective activities and group discussions. There will be some room for sharing/reflecting in the group for those who would like to. Each participant will receive a workbook to take home with them which will include the information reviewed in the workshop and practice activities for at home.

It's time to reconnect with yourself MAMA! Join us on at the sacred Howe Island Yurt for a well deserved day away to learn, reflect and reconnect through discussion, journaling, reiki and yoga. During our time together we will focus on the shifts in identity; managing expectations and "mom guilt"; navigating relationship dynamics; coping with loss/grief and reconnecting to who we were before we became "Mama".
