Welcome/ Bienvenue! I recognize that reaching out for help can be frightening; my role as a therapist is to provide you with a space to explore your challenges at your own pace. In my practice, I work with individuals from various backgrounds, cultures, and lived experiences by virtually providing client-centred counselling services to individuals (18+). With my own lived experience and theoretical background, I aim to create a welcoming environment for individuals to explore the complexities and stressors of daily life while also navigating the rigorous roads of trauma.
I strive to create a neurodiversity-affirming, trauma-informed practice that is safe, authentic, and nonjudgmental by helping each client with a tailored therapeutic approach to fit their unique life journey and challenges. I truly believe that everyone is an expert in their own life, and strengths are to be discovered within each of us.
My therapeutic areas of interest include anxiety, depression, trauma, chronic pain, burnout, and grief. From a theoretical standpoint, I pull from several theoretical interventions and have training in Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, and Narrative and Somatic Therapy.
