I believe there is strength to be found in everyone, sometimes it just takes a nurturing hand, an understanding ear, and an open heart to create opportunity for individuals to find what is innately within themselves.
In the space of counselling, therapists can exhibit the traits and behaviours that so many of our clients are missing in their daily lives. It is through these genuine connections, and feelings of care and compassion that individuals can begin to feel worthy and cared for, capable of achieving their goals, and improving their sense of well-being.
My experience at different agencies over the past 10 years has provided me opportunities to learn about the hardships endured by many different populations in our communities. I am intrigued by human nature and the resilience found in each of us. I aspire to provide support to those who are suffering and would like someone to travel their road with them.
