I am a registered clinical counsellor and am passionate about working with people from all walks of life. I have experience working with neurodivergent children, youth, and adults. After giving birth to my daughter, I have become passionate about perinatal mental health and am currently pursuing my Canadian Perinatal Mental Health practitioner certificate. I have a particular interest in working with people who have sustained birth injuries as well as neurodivergent parents.
I utilize elements of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), dialectical behaviour therapy, and cognitive behaviour therapy in my practice. I believe in evidence based practice, while still maintaining a strong therapeutic relationship.
