Stepping into therapy can be evocative. It invites us to delve into our inner world and befriend parts of ourselves who we discover - often the hurt, hidden, and hopeful. I join you for this journey as your guide and am committed to embodying collaboration, warmth, playfulness, curiosity, and compassion. In our space we will safely weave together your stories, explore meaningful insights, and experiment with new ways of being, feeling, and relating. My approach to care is rooted in anti-oppressive, intersectional, and trauma-informed frameworks. I also bring years of experience as a queer musician and music therapist into my work.
I work predominantly with queer and trans folks, artists, and students. I have experience working with anxiety, depression, perfectionism, transitions, loss and grief, relationship challenges, identity exploration, HIV/AIDS, and trauma. I see children, youth, adults, and older adults, and offer both individual and couples sessions.
I believe each of us exists within and is influenced by our family, culture, and nuanced social systems. My integrative therapy approach embraces relational, arts-based, narrative, Internal Family Systems, and existential modalities - all of which can foster a deeper understanding of how you engage with yourself, others, and the world around you.
