I am a white, queer, cisgender man and settler. I value authenticity and strive to be collaborative, warm, playful, curious, and compassionate in my work with clients. I invite you to also bring any parts of yourself to our shared therapy space - the hurt, the hidden, the hopeful, and whoever else we may discover. My approach to care is rooted in intersectional, anti-oppressive, and trauma-informed frameworks. Some specializations of mine include anxiety, depression, grief, perfectionism, relationship challenges, queer experiences, identity exploration, HIV/AIDS, and trauma. I work with children, youth, adults, and older adults.
I believe each of us exists within and is influenced by our family, culture, and nuanced social systems. My integrative therapy approach embraces relational, arts-based, narrative, Internal Family Systems, and existential modalities - all of which can foster a deeper understanding of how you engage with yourself, others, and the world around you.
I am committed to facilitating a space where you can safely weave together your stories, gain meaningful insights, and move towards new ways of being, feeling, and relating. I believe change can happen through relationship, thus core to my work is co-creating and exploring our relational dynamic in the here-and-now. I look forward to connecting!
