Psychotherapy, particularly cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) is the most widely used evidence-based treatment for anxiety, while mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT) is a useful technique for depression. I use both of these and various other modalities to help you better understand and manage your concerns.
I believe that therapy is a collaborative process. While I may have knowledge about evidence-based treatments, I firmly believe that you are the expert in your life! I work with clients to help them navigate their unique challenges and help them determine suitable coping techniques to overcome their personal concerns.
