You've decided something needs to change. You no longer want your past stealing joy from your present. You want to feel like yourself again and live a life you're proud of. Together, we will co-create a hopeful and non-judgmental space to get you there. With curiosity and compassion, you can (re)connect with your authentic self and what truly matters to you. You can learn new skills to handle difficult thoughts and feelings, no longer reacting automatically or impulsively. You can become more comfortable in your body and deepen your presence and connection in the relationships that mean the most to you. It's all possible!
I come with a trauma-focused and somatic lens, with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) as a guiding framework. My holistic approach is influenced by my experience working in community services, in healthcare, and as a yoga student/teacher. I acknowledge and appreciate how our physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being are interconnected.
I don't have all the answers, and I won't pretend to. What I can offer is being with you, genuinely and wholeheartedly, in a confidential space. We won't use short-term bandaids for your symptoms, but instead truly get to know and heal your inner and outer worlds so you can (re)engage in an enriching and meaningful life. Whenever you're ready, I’m ready too!
