Kindly note: maternity leave starting end of August/mid-September - I am welcoming new clients until the beginning of July. > Psychotherapy with me is specifically personalized to fit you and what you need. Areas I can help you with include: Anxiety, Grief, Decision-Making, Life Transitions, Burnout, and Chronic Illness Management, like Type One Diabetes (I am a fellow T1D). Together, we will walk through your concerns, create space for you to be heard, and determine together what it is that you want out of therapy. We will work to meet those goals in an individualized way that best helps you.
Whatever you may be wrestling with, I want to hear your story as you tell it, not as you think it should be told or as someone else says you need to tell it. I empower you to share what you are experiencing and how you are experiencing it. When our minds are muddled, I want to center you in your story.

Want to connect with others with Type One Diabetes and receive mental health tools to better care for your whole self while managing your condition? Meyers Creek Psychotherapy runs support group sessions virtually to those in Ontario! Sessions are run for 6 weeks. Each week will have time for open sharing and a guided theme with therapeutic tools and reflections. Topics include diabetes burnout, self-compassion, emotional awareness, and building resilience, among others. This group is available as requested. Reach out to hear when the next group is being offered! Keep in mind that some insurance plans cover group therapy.
