Hello, my name is Afraa, and I am a Registered Provisional Psychologist and a CCC counsellor. We can start by exploring tools to help you develop better coping strategies I became a counselor because I am curious about people and their stories and how they can reduce suffering better manage their mental health and improve their overall wellbeing through therapy.
For my therapeutic approaches; I draw on a variety of counselling approaches that are trauma-informed, Strengths based, Single Session therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and EMDR, shifting approaches based on each person’s individual needs. I have experience working with individuals from all ages.
I offer a free 15 minute consultation to ease any concerns about the therapeutic process or answer any questions you may have about therapy, to help you determine if this is a good fit for you. I can deliver therapy in: English and Arabic.
