I specialise in working with couples and individuals that are experiencing relationship issues. As a couple your issues may relate to frequent conflicts, communication breakdowns, infidelity or issues around intimacy. Whatever you are wanting to work on as a couple to improve your relationship I can provide the understanding and the tools to address and overcome your challenges. I also work with individuals so if your partner is unwilling to come to therapy or if your own personal issues are significantly impacting your relationship by focusing on your own behaviours you can positively influence your relationship dynamics.
I have over a decade of experience in private practice and an extensive training and experience from my background in addictions. As a couples therapist I am trained in Gottman Method Couples Therapy which is a structured, goal orientated and scientifically based approach that is particularly suitable for high conflict couples.
