Chronic stress, depression and trauma wreaks havoc on our lives. There is this constant feeling of being alone, confused, overwhelmed, which leaves us feeling depleted each day. This causes all kinds of issues in our health, relationships and the perception of ourselves and the world around us. Constantly being stuck in these states causes us to have fewer options and makes the future seem quite bleak and hopeless. I can imagine what you are longing for is someone to really listen, support and gently guide you in a direction of growth, resilience and living life to it's fullest potential.
I offer a unique body oriented approach that focuses on how trauma, and chronic stress is stored within the body. With my guidance we connect to body sensations within the present moment and gently direct those reactions to complete and restore to a resourceful and rhythmic state that allows the client to access difficult emotions and thoughts in safe manner
The initial step to reach out for support will be a difficult one and often overwhelming with all the various therapist and modalities all pointing in different directions. I invite each client to first test out the water and get a feel if my space, approach and me as a facilitator is right for them. The feeling of safety is fundamental to our work together
