Life can be very difficult. The everyday stressors of life can be overwhelming. Unfortunately, people encounter so much more than just these everyday stressors: trauma, violence, loss, discrimination and hate-crimes, to name a few, complicates our experience of being human. My work is to support my client's on their life journey, through insight-based interventions empower them to build a life worth living. You are welcome to read more about me at www.tiaanlandman.co.za
My approach to therapy integrates various therapeutic techniques in honor of the client's goals, where I work with my clients to create lasting change. In utilizing dynamic psychotherapy, we uncover unconscious processes that inform how a client relates to themselves and others, and process underlying emotions in a safe and supportive environment.
There is something magical in becoming curious about ourselves. Therapy guides this curiosity through evidence-based strategies that provide clients with the opportunity to develop awareness about themselves and their relationship. This awareness is a powerful tool towards psychological change.
