I am a passionate counselor, placed on this earth to help people. I love what I do. My experience allows me to feel confident that I provide a safe and confidential space that enables my clients to feel free to express themselves comfortably and without judgement. I thrive in many areas of counselling. I am the strongest when it comes to dealing with relationships, marital problems, mental health issues, addiction, grief and trauma. I also offer play therapy for children. I love helping someone to re-frame their lives and realize their full potential.
I worked at a drug & alcohol rehab facility for seven years and see this as my "basic army training". I learnt more working in this area of counselling that I could ever have learnt in a book. I do not limit myself to addiction counselling only. I am strong in many areas of counselling. My motivation to work with children stems from my exp at the rehab.
QBE - Qualified by experience too. In my own life, my journey has not been that easy, I have experienced many things first hand. I have learned though, that through a lot of self- study and a lot of hard work that almost anything can be overcome with the help of the right person and a person's dedication to want to be whole again. Life is not that easy.
